Title: Cute Teddy
Title (Original Language): 可爱的小熊
Year: 2019
Words in the Drawing: “ Teddy is very cute. I can remember, my younger son was very obedient and smart too when he was young, and he loved to play football. Because I was very busy with my work I had very little time to discipline him. As a mother, we have to discipline the children. I now feel guilty towards my son and I always worry about him. I hope he can understand things and live well. This is a mother’s feeling and eternal love. I hope my son can perceive my intention and cherish it. ”

Title: Ong Lai
Title (Original Language): 旺来
Year: 2019
Words in the Drawing: “ I am from Johor, and I reminisce about the pineapple farm in my hometown. I left home when I was 16 years old. Since I was a child, my family’s financial position was considered not bad. I came to a strange place and started a new life. I did not know anything. Over here, I had the opportunity to go to school and got an education. After graduating from school at the age of 18, I went out to earn a living. There was a doctor who let me draw some models, and it was then I realized that I had the talent to draw. There were many applications, and because I demonstrated my skills, I was selected to be one of the medical staff and had the opportunity to pursue a nursing course. That started my future career as a nurse. ”
