I hope that when I am gone in the future, the volunteers of Care & Share will continue to work hard and serve the residents of the Valley of Hope.”

My three nieces are grown up now, and my brother-in-law is still healthy. We are happy to be reunited, and we now cherish each other even more. I hope my brother-in-law, Xiao Ming, can take good care of his three daughters after I pass on. I hope my three nieces will forgive me for leaving without saying goodbye then.”

Title: Madras Lane Famous Roast Meat Stall

Words in the Drawing: “My brother-in-law, Xiao Ming, sold roasted pork at Madras Lane in Kuala Lumpur when he was young. It was very famous, and the stall was very historic. Back then, everyone used to call him Hainan Chai; and his business was very good. My boss loved to eat Xiao Ming’s roasted duck and roasted chicken very much so, I would often buy it for him and at the same time help Xiao Ming do some work. After finishing work, I would bring the roasted duck and chicken and gold coin shape pork back to the nurses' dormitory in the Valley of Hope and eat with my boss's family. My boss's wife was a nurse here. I have drawn this picture as a souvenir for Xiao Ming to let him recall his achievement in the past.”

Words in the Drawing: “These are the two dogs raised by my nieces Qiu Yan and Qiu Xia. My nieces like dogs very much and have specially requested me to draw the dogs for them, so this will be the first time I am drawing dogs. Their dog, WIFI, is easy to sketch, but POTATO is difficult and even after many tries, I still couldn't get it right. This painting will not be easy to sell as it is not nice looking and will not be worth RM500. I hope Ah Yan and Ah Xia don't mind as I did not expect them to give me the honour to draw the picture. I thank them for their support! ”

On behalf of all the inmates, I thank you for your support. If you had not asked me to draw this painting, I wouldn't have drawn so many and had sold so well! Thank you, Teacher, for telling me to sketch so many pictures; I am very happy! I like this painting very much because each animal is united in its hearts, helping one another regardless of you or me. I hope humans are also as unified as them, and all races are harmonious and always helping each other. ”

Today, I can draw to help cancer patients, and I feel that it is very meaningful. I thank you for supporting my painting.”
